Directory Terms
Version: March 2026
1. Scope
These terms govern the use of the paid Directory section of wirtschaftsforensik.ch by service providers (“Client”).
Access to the publicly available editorial content does not create any contractual obligation for readers.
2. Services
The operator provides an independent, editorially curated professional platform focused on economic forensics, fraud, corruption, compliance and related fields.
Paid services are limited to:
- the publication of service provider profiles (“Service Profiles”),
- optional add-on features within such profiles.
All editorial content remains freely accessible and serves informational and professional context purposes only.
3. No Legal or Professional Advice
The information provided does not constitute legal, tax, audit or other professional advice and does not replace consultation with qualified professionals.
Despite careful preparation, no warranty is given as to accuracy, completeness or timeliness.
4. Contract Formation and Payment
A contract is concluded when the Client selects a paid service package, completes the ordering process and payment is successfully processed.
By completing payment, the Client confirms acceptance of these terms.
5. Duration
Service Profiles are published for a fixed term of twelve (12) months. The term begins upon editorial activation of the profile.
This is not a subscription. No automatic renewal applies.
The Client may be informed prior to expiration about the possibility of renewal.
6. Editorial Review and Admission
Publication of a Service Profile is subject to formal and editorial review.
The review serves exclusively to safeguard the professional focus, neutrality and integrity of the platform. It does not constitute certification, endorsement, quality assessment or due diligence.
There is no entitlement to publication. The operator may reject a profile or require modifications by the Client, in particular if:
- information is incomplete, inconsistent or misleading,
- legal concerns arise,
- the services do not align with the thematic focus of the platform,
- the integrity or credibility of the platform could be affected.
Profile content is published in the language submitted by the Client. No translation or linguistic adaptation is provided.
Inclusion in the Directory does not constitute a recommendation or assumption of liability for the services offered.
7. Refund Policy and Abuse Clause
If a paid profile is rejected during editorial review prior to activation, payments already made will generally be refunded in full.
In cases of manifest abuse, fraudulent intent or clearly unrelated submissions, a refund may be partially or entirely withheld to the extent that payment, transaction or administrative costs have already been incurred.
Such reservations apply only in objectively justified exceptional cases.
8. Prices and Taxes
All prices are displayed transparently.
If no value-added tax (VAT) is shown, services are currently provided without VAT. Should VAT become applicable in the future, it will be stated accordingly.
Clients are responsible for assessing and fulfilling any tax obligations in their own jurisdiction.
9. Client Responsibilities
The Client is responsible for the accuracy, legality and timeliness of all submitted content.
The Client warrants that it holds all necessary rights and does not infringe third-party rights.
10. Liability
The operator assumes no responsibility for the factual accuracy of information provided within Service Profiles.
To the extent permitted by law, liability is limited to intent and gross negligence. Liability for indirect damages or loss of profit is excluded.
11. International Orientation
The platform is accessible internationally. Legal references and interpretations are based on Swiss law.
12. Amendments
The version valid at the time of contract conclusion shall apply.
13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
Swiss law shall apply. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG) is excluded.
To the extent legally permissible, the place of jurisdiction is the registered seat of the operator.
